The ball terminals are spherical and swaged.
Ball sizes and materials are available in a wide range of variation.
By attaching our original or commercially available metal terminals or parts to our wire ropes, the characteristics and functions unique to our wire ropes can be enhanced.
In addition to the selection of various wire ropes, we can process our wire ropes to your specifications by combining suitable materials and parts selected from among those conformable to various shapes and the management of materials and environmental chemicals.
Here, this section shows some of these terminal processing variations.

Approx. 60% of the fracture strength of wire rope |
The stop terminals are cylindrical and swaged.

The die-cast terminals have high strength because a wire rope is cast direct into a metallic mold.
We start processing from designing and manufacturing a special-purpose mold according to your needs.
Also, we prepare a provisional or trial mold according to your budget.
The clamp tubes are special-purpose parts for giving a loop to wire ropes.
You can select the parts according to the wire rope to be used.
The thimbles prevent wire ropes from being deformed for protection in an optimal way.
We undertake consistent processing of thimbles from design to assembly.
The ring terminals are used for measuring equipment and others which need precise and rotatable support about axes.
The thread terminals are recommendable when you need the fine adjustment of tension.
The adjust bolts are recommendable when the fine adjustment of outer tube length is required.
The A terminals are used mainly for attaching pins and machine screws.
[Reference] | Outer diameter after swaging |
---|---|
Flat swage | t1.7 - 2.7 |
Round swage | Ø3.0 - 4.4 |
Square swage | 3.2 - 4.0 |
The OA terminals are used mostly for sizes of around Ø1.0mm.
Even if the wire rope is coated, the OA terminals can be swaged without removing the coating film in most cases.
